UNICORE client configuration

For UNICORE a so-called keystore has to be created from a private key and a certificate. This can be achieved by the following command:
openssl pkcs12 -export -in cert.pem -inkey privkey.pem -name "<Your Name>" -out keystore.p12

To get access to the DEISA Vsites via UNICORE you have to make the following adjustments in the client:

• Choose Settings > User Defaults. In the tab General at URL(s) for UNICORE Site Server you have to enter the following line:
  http://www.fz-juelich.de/unicore/unicoreSites_DEISA.xml
• Choose Settings > Keystore Editor. Via the menu Actions > Import Certificates...you have to import the following certificates:
• for BSC: IRISGridCA.pem
• for CINECA: INFN-CA.pem
• for CSC: NorduGrid_Certification_Authority.pem
• for FZJ, RZG und LRZ: dfn-grid-pca.pem und dfn-grid-server-ca.pem
• for IDRIS: Grid-FR.pem
• for SARA: nikhef_ca_sara.pem
• for ECMWF: ecmwf-CA.pem
• for EPCC: UK-eScience.pem
Using the tab Trusted Certificates you can control, if all necessary certificates are present.
• To improve the clarity you can hide DEISA resources not needed by using Settings > Configure Sites .
